Two candidates applied for a job as manager
They had a job interview online
The recruiter was curious to find out more about them
She asked:
‘Do you like working remote?’
The first candidate was eager to get the job
He answered immediately:
‘I love to work remote!’
The second candidate thought for a moment
Then she replied:
‘Working remote is great but I miss people. Their body language, their jokes and their empathy without words’
The recruiter smiled. She said:
‘Working remote is the New Normal. Working with people and leading them is not!’
The second candidate was hired
