KCC Fermented Milk in a Pouch - The Latest Innovation in Dairy Products

Fermented milk also known as “Maziwa Lala “ or “Mala” has been a Kenyan delicacy for the longest time. Mala is a healthy drink , an accompaniment for Ugali and a nutritious additive for porridge.

The latest innovation in Mala packaging is the introduction of the pouch packaging that has led to 33.33% cost reduction on the price of the standard 500ml pack . Previously Mala was packaged in a Tetra Pak® (carton packaging ) , then evolved into PET(polyethylene terepthalate ) packaging and now it is available in a polyethylene pouch. The new pouch is lighter and saves storage space on shelves and refrigerators.
