As the partyhats were originally only available in limited numbers for a short period of time, but have since been removed, any player lucky enough to own one has the option of selling them for billions of coins with RS Gold. To earn their hands the heads of the Golden Party Hat, players will need to accomplish "various goals" and collect eight golden shards to reward their efforts. Once all eight have been taken, they will be combined into the Golden Party Hat.

But not only is the game time-bound, but only one golden hat is created per player. As with their predecessors from 2001, Jagex says of the golden capes "after the cut-off time, they will never be available to earn again!"

The new item's impact on the game's economy and decreases the value of existing partyhats or turns into an additional premium item remains to be determined. Jagex will be marking this occasion in the same manner, though, transforming the game's Grand Exchange location into "a Golden Party Hat winter wonderland".

Appropriately named Finale The chapter is described as "the ending of an adventure that explores the RuneScape's past present, and future and brings the story arc to an end for Relomia the quest's antagonist."

Finale will involve players visiting three locations : the Black Knight's Fortress and the World Gate, and the Kami-Shima's island, which may present glimpses of potential futures with OSRS Gold. Complete the chapter and reward those who complete it with "four Quest points, a new T5 magical dice.
