The successful candidate’s principal role will be to ensure that the site products and process capability is appropriate to maximize the efficiency of GSK process operations (i.e. manufacturing and packaging operations). The PCT is also responsible for New Product Introduction and source change Management for API and Recipients used in the product manufacture.

1. You will perform routine laboratory analysis by following written plant procedures to ensure compliance with specifications.

2. Measure and report on the quality of fuel HFO & LFO, Lube oil, Municipal & borehole water, Steam/condensate system, Cooling water system, Effluent water, Environmental and Quality control samples.

3. Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment and provide test method training, whilst operating in a safe, tidy and efficient manner, support quality assurance activities and participate in process improvement.

4. In your role, you will work closely with the Operations Manager.
